Smart Cow was busy this summer, supporting Outdoor Lab, the new Douglas County Outdoor Education Center and AshCares.
Donations from our Arvada store will be used by Outdoor Lab to replace damaged luggage station canopies at the Windy Peak facility. The canopies keep students’ luggage and sleeping bags dry, and serve as an outdoor classroom. The whole intern staff came to Smart Cow after a busy day of training to accept our donation and enjoy some froyo!
The Castle Rock store’s donation is being put to great use at the new Outdoor Education Center near Larkspur. All year long, Douglas County 5th and 6th graders will enjoy experiential learning during overnight excursions.
In Green Bay, our donation went to AshCares, a program of the Ashwaubenon School District that helps students and their families with basic needs that help them succeed.
Thanks to all who came to our Grassroots Tuesdays events to support local education!
